At the beginning of the year, the first thing we learned was the alphabet. It's pretty easy to learn the alphabet again, but this time in a different language. Letters in the Spanish alphabet sound different then they do in English. It also has four letters that aren't in the English alphabet. Learning the alphabet first helps, so when we get to bigger words it would be easy to sound out.
Trashketball
In Spanish class we played trashketball. Mr. Aberle would say something in English and we would have to say it back to him in Spanish. He would ask two people and the first to grab the eraser would answer. If they answered correctly they would take the duck-tape ball and try to make it into the baskets from different distances back. Each distance represents a different prize. |
